Who gives a frick if you throw 35TDs on only 7 picks? I don't care if you fail to break 1000 yards if you can account for 35 touchdowns and not turn it over a ton.

Summed up nicely. And the team likes him and has his back.

When Winston got injured against Tampa, the Saints defense took it up a notch.

I saw fear in Brady's eyes. Winston is well liked by his teammates and commands their respect.

And he has one of the nastiest deep balls in the game.

34 tds equates to 204 points. Remind me how many points 4,000-5,000 yards equates to....

Getting an elite QB gives you a better chance at a championship regardless.

Not regardless. Only if you can get the weapons around him. If we have to give up too may key players to make cap space it may not. At least not immediately.

You do know that Payton had kid gloves on him right? He wasn't about to let him air it out without knowing if he could keep the mistakes down. Not to mention how limited we were in weapons and offensive line movements. A healthy OLine, healthy MT, another good WR, and Winston should be better than he was this year.

Taysom threw 4 TDs and 5 INTs. This is who you want starting over Winston.

We not getting Wilson or ARodgers, so let's get Burk in the draft, a few OLineman, and defense and roll to the playoffs.

He has talent. I think that he has matured and wants to have some sort of legacy .

A capable QB to pair with a win now roster. Saints were 5-2 with Winston. If Winston and Michael Thomas were healthy and playing right now the saints would be in the playoffs and capable of winning a SB this year.

This is my argument for him not being our qb going forward. Payton had created the most conservative offense he ever has around winston. Even more so than taysom or trevor. He doesnt trust him. And this isnt a rookie. So i think itll be someone else

Winston was only throwing 22 attempts in the first 4 games. It wasn't until week 4 where he threw 30 passes and Payton was letting him air it more. We were running it more early on.

Trevor Siemian had more pass attempts than Winston. Come on guy. You watched the games.

Well, Jameis threw for 5109 yards in 2019. You want that version instead?

I've never seen someone choose so many hills to die on as Chad. You gotta respect that resolve

Seems like you're a fan of the Taysom Hill led offense. Oh wait, you're not, you only use certain arguments when convenient. Carry on with your coping. Thanks.

He didn't know if Winston would revert back to an INT machine so the first 4 games, he dialed him back. In week 5 he saw enough to call 30 pass attempts and trusted him enough to start throwing more going forward.

Siemian is gone. We rolling with Winston, Hill, and Book.

Who are we going to get that's better than Winston? Don't say something stupid like Wilson or Rodgers either. Winston is our QB, next year. He's cheap, he's accurate, and he's bought into the system. Only way Winston isn't on the roster is if his career is done and it's not. He's already throwing the ball. We get another stud WR and Winston will make a believer out of the doubters.

I think he has a big arm and is better than average. My only knock on him this past year was he held onto the ball too long. Mind you, he had a bunch of Walmart cashiers playing wide receiver so it’s not like he was missing open guys a ton. I’m down to ride with Jameis some more. He needs weapons though and a little better protection.

I feel that was more gameplan specific, facing a terrible pass defense
