What did you see different from the offense today that you liked?

For me I liked that we leaned into running the ball. Should have probably rotated Miller in more but that's a minor complaint.
There was also a lot more motion presnap.
Still seeing Carr hold onto the ball too long at times but I get the feeling it might be the routes being ran. I'll definitely look for a film review this week to see if I can get some answers.

First thing that came to mind was running.

I like the fact that we scored points.

Kamara is gonna be the key that makes this offense tick, the more pressure he can take off the qb the more effective I think Carr will be

TD pass to Olave was good to see. That’s the kind of pass Carr struggles with in the red zone it seems

I liked all the opportunities the defense gave them because the patriots suck. Carr seems to choke less when he has a 3 TD lead

Offensive line looks to be improving. Even last week, they pass blocked well. If we can elimiate the pre-snap penalties, this was a functional offense. I guess Carr just wasn't ready last week to go.

Offense looked entirely different. O line looked great too. Passing attack actually threw the ball downfield rather than dinking and dunking.

he still slightly overthrew it, which is why olave couldn't haul it in as cleanly.
Using someone aside from TEs and AK for screens
Mixing up the running game with Miller, not just Taysom
Aside from 1 pass in particular; WRs not running similar routes in the same area
OL actually blocking solidly
The one thing I realized is we need to really get another TE aside from Graham.

Not much. Pass blocking was ok in spots, Mike and Kamara were good as always.
Olave had a terrible game
Pete is fricking terrible and the offense is so disjointed they don't even know personnel groupings
Lack of creativity
Bad route combos/pass pros
Not a damn thing about this game has me convinced that we have something figured out on offense.

Quick passes to RBs like extended hand offs. Looked like the Saints from 10 years ago. That used to be our bread and butter. It spreads the defense out and forces them to worry about the edges. That opens up running lanes and makes pass pro easier.

I'll agree with this. The o-line was way better.

We truly need an offensive coordinator and head coach who knows how to win

Motion. Used the middle of the field more. Having Moreau back also helped with pass protection, no more Prentice.

Finishing drives instead of stalling and settling for 3.

The biggest difference was the quality, or lack thereof, of the opposition.
Not trying to take away from a fabulous performance by the Saints. I was very happy with it.

The Pats are bad, but at least they showed they can take advantage of a bad defense.
But I saw some positive trends in blocking and play calling.
