Werner should still play over Elliss but he’s made it a hell of a lot closer if a competition that anyone could have imagined. He’s needs to be re-signed but I’m afraid someone is going to give him a multi year starter salary contract and we won’t be able to match. They would be fools to let him go with Demario not getting younger. Most LB at his age have been retired for a year or two.

I mean Davis is making 9mil (12th highest ILB), Myles Jack (8mil)
I think if a team is really gonna overpay, you let him walk. But something like a 3/12mil wouldn't be unreasonable when you look at both ILB/OLB for a "pseudo" starter
