I think we looked a lot better on defense than the score will show. The offense put them in bad spots throughout the game (Turnovers and quick 3 and outs).

I want to see Davenport get some more snaps. I'm thinking he might in Atlanta.

The complaints about Davis have been really overblown.

I mean, how quickly did you expect the guy to adjust to our whack-arse defensive scheme?

He doesn't seem as assertive, imo. Timid. We'll see.
Right now, he's in the doghouse. Jury is still out, tho

According to ST Marcus Williams, Marshon Lattimore, Marcus Davenport and AJ Klein are shite. How is this possible?

Every LSU linebacker is better than ours. People on here told me that.

He’s not in shape imo

Should have let him play in the preseason

Yeah my issue was never with Davis himself because when he was told to attack he would kill it.

It was just obviously taking time to adjust to the scheme, which he seems to be doing.

I get the "it's preseason let's not risk our starters", but every year we seem to come out out of sync on both sides of the ball (despite the numbers put up, the offense outside of Kamara and Thomas (2 fumbles aside) have been fricking up a lot).

Practice can only do so much. These guys, especially the ones new to the team, need more snaps in preseason.

Also Davenport definitely deserves more snaps. He is a beast against the run so far. I can't recall seeing a rookie come in and be able to maintain gap discipline, and stack and shed as well as he has. He's definitely rivaling Jordan in that department.

Still struggling on the get of at times and gets stonewalled at points in the pass rush, but he athleticism still usually lets him get close and put some pressure on the QB.

Honestly while Okafor has been playing well, I think Davenport as a rookie is playing better.

Havent seen this mentioned yet but Anzalone didn't record a single statistic in 20+ snaps

I don't care how athletic he is, Robertson should be getting ALL the snaps Anzalone gets, and then some.

It's sad to say Klein has looked better than Anzalone so far. Klein almost always seems late to the party, but at least he knows where the party is. Anzalone is still running around lost half the time, and his run d has been horrid.

Anzalone needs to be limited to four or five snaps a game. Mostly on special teams.
