Not true. Allows you to evaluate TH until Brees comes back and gets a nice young prospect as well. Rosen hasn't shown much on shitty teams but SP probably put him in the pro bowl.

We need to win now. You need to go with who you feel gives you the best chance to win the next 6 to 7 games. Not next year or the year after. The issue of long term will need to be addressed in the draft or in free agency. If Brees was out for the season then maybe you would have a point.

I’d rather Fitzpatrick, Rosen ain’t a better option than Teddy for the next 6 weeks. Fitzpatrick has shown the ability to get hot for a few weeks

Would imagine it is only a matter of time before Miami starts Rosen. There is no reason to have Fitz out there. They should be trying to see what they have in Rosen while there is no pressure to win.

so bring in a guy who doesnt know the playbook at all, play him immediately for a stop gap vs a guy who has been on the team for two years, knows the playbook, and can start now?

You don't read real well. I said we could go Taysom for a couple weeks. Hand it off to Rosen, then back to Brees.
During this stretch of Brees being out we'll be lucky to go .500. Who cares if it's Teddy, Taysom, Fitz or Rosen. The only difference in my scenario is that at the end you have Rosen. A top-10 pick 2 years ago who hasn't been coached for shite.

Teddy is probably paid more than Rosen, but I'd like to see if Teddy canget it don with a ful week of work as the starter, unlike his week 17 start without half the regular starters.

This is never gonna happen. If they had any interest in Rosen being their qb of the future, he would have been out there from game one.
Logically, it made sense to ride him all year. Either he plays well enough that you have found your qb of the future, or he stinks and helps you tank. But Miami already made up their mind that they were tanking for Tua.
Rosen never had a chance. I don’t even know why they traded for him, and some team should be trying to get him for cheap right now.
