Simple... Agricultural practices have changed in SW LA...

Ducks and geese don't like to eat crayfish nor Sugar cane..

Look UP and watch Chene Gear/ "Under Pressure" a video on U Tube..... Beleive me when I say It will open Ur Eyes....

Ive hunted for over 60 yrs in the Ricefilds and Marsh of Cajun Country,,,

Get You a Penn Tiger Lite rod in 6'-6 1/2' MH action and a Penn 30 squall LW or Shimano Tekota 700 with 50# Ande mono..

I prowl the pawn shops and find great deals.. Het the reels cleaned and repaired if needed. Also Ebay and Louisiana Sportsman Mag classified.

We kept a 30'er across the street from Toms PLace for a fishing season... We fished the Lump out of Empire Jetties. ATE there, many a night... Mr. Tom could shuck oysters like NO other... I use to sit at the bar and talk to him... I loved his stories of the OLDEN days... Ribeyes are AWESOME...Don't know how many ribeyes I eat there.

His Daughter who worked there was Playboy Model BEAUTIFUL....
