Or maybe Purdy isn’t low end?? Maybe Buffalos defense is suspect? Those are some other options to consider.

While this is currently true, this statement looks vastly different if not for the latest CGM injury and the perplexing Alvin Kamara falloff. You could also throw in Jarvis' injury in the Carolina game.

Jameis got both CGM and Jarvis injured in the same game with woefully inaccurate passes that both players tried to bail out by contorting their bodies and trying to change body momentum so suddenly. Jameis' decision making was shite before he got benched, but his accuracy was just as bad--at least THAT might be blamed on the broken back.

Kyle Shanahan's offensive system protects quarterbacks with a strong running game and play action. It is as close to a "plug and play" system as you can get in today's NFL. McDaniel's biggest mistake in Miami was trying to deviate from his mentor's formula and make a weak quarterback the centerpiece of his offense, which only works if you have a guy that is good enough. Shanahan's system would be great for the position the Saints are in.
