If Winston had exactly the same game as Dalton today, all you would hear about from the I hate Jameis crowd is the fumble he lost and the two passes that should have been picks.
If Winston had the same exact game as Dalton today I’d complement him on finally showing improvement

Good news is we don’t have to worry about winning 8 games and winding up with a shitty draft pick!

It’s bless your heart. If you’re going to criticize someone, at least do so correctly.

I agree but crappy crabby will be leading the team to a sub 500 season as soon as he’s healthy

I just watched the game. I'm in DFW and don't get a chance to watch the Saints often. I thought Dalton looked really good. But he is never going to be the savior of a franchise. Not sure what it is that he's missing, but he's got journeyman written all over him.

There are too many idiots on this board who just don’t seem to understand that no one is claiming dalton to be the savior and future of the franchise.
This. We’re just talking about this season. Dalton with a healthy Kamara and Thomas gives us a chance in what looks like a very weak division.

blessed your heart for thinking Dalton will play like this every week
Quite humorous all the Winston lovers were saying Dalton was garbage and not better than Winston.
He plays better than Winston has all year and now the goal posts move to he’s not capable of playing like today every week lol.

Winston fan boys: "You can't blame Winston because we had a bunch of injuries."
Same dipshits completely ignoring Dalton was without Kamara and MT: "HE'S NEVER GOING TO PLAY LIKE THIS EVER AGAIN PLEASE BELIEVE ME WHY IS NO ONE LISTENING TO ME!!!!!????"

Dalton is a perfect fit for our offense.
We were some blown calls away from winning with Thomas, Kamara, and, uhhh, Peat out.
The offense looked its best all year with Dalton at the helm. If the coaches didn’t see it, then it goes beyond football.

WRONG

I hope this was dalton knocking the rust off but he didn't do much to assure me that he can win consistently in this league.

The Saints when this game without the officiating frickery in the 4th quarter.
Saw so many of the same posts after the TB game. So, by this logic the team can win with Winston.

You expect the same coaches that "the experts" were saying are way too predictable in their play calling and became predictable again to see the obvious? I've said a handful of times, I think a healthy Winston is a better overall QB; however, Dalton is a better QB for this system. Unless and until he starts to falter, Dalton should remain the QB; but I have no faith in the coaching staff not screwing this one up

Given the choice, I certainly prefer Dalton under center from the first snap, but afraid that is not in the cards. The question I have is wether DA will put him in the game when Winston is not getting it done in the 3rd quarter or does he ride the dead horse. With AK & Thomas healthy, AD’s short game is much better, especially on the underneath crossing routes.
The long term answer is TBD.
