We have to stop with the run first mentality

This isn't the Saints of the past several years. We've now witnessed what we can do when we open it up and utilize our weapons. I hope we start using the pass (particularly the intermediate and deep balls) to open up the run instead. Stop worrying about interceptions. Allow these beast playmakers to feast!!!

Allen has stated he wants to run the ball. Even at half the reporter asked how they could get the receivers going and he only responded by saying he wants to run the ball.
I think they will remain balanced, but they have to keep these receivers going. It was so nice to see MT, Landry and Olave all get involved in the 2nd half.

I also believe they remain balanced, and I'm okay with that, but coming out and throwing it downfield opens up the run tremendously. I hope he realizes that and allows JW to let it rip to open up next week.

Said this last year that you don't want to promote a DC to HC unless you're just looking for ball control and TOP. He needs to be hands off the offense and concentrate on keeping our defense playing top-5 level like they have the last couple of years.

That was my main complaint on Payton last season and Allen started the same. Look at some points last season and the 4th quarter today.. when you don't keep the handcuffs on jameis, he can make throws. I understand tge turnover thing but he is learning here. Just let him know that if that shite starts, red rifle is in
