Welcome to the new era! Top 10 defense and a legitimate top 10 option at QB.

Now let’s solidify Oline and win the South.

Good luck with that. I will gladly eat my words if wrong, but I would have rather drafted a rookie and let him sit a year or two behind a veteran.

You are a life sucking leech if you aren’t excited about this.

Carr was handcuffed by a bad organization and terrible defenses. He is no guaranty but definitely a better option than any other free agent. Also, you have to remember the chances of hitting on a QB in the draft are slim to none. More franchises have struck out drafting first round QBs than have had success….and it ain’t even close.

What exactly are Mickey Loomis and Dennis Allen? Do those two clowns scream championship to you?

Arguably the worst part of that bad organization from a coaching perspective is Dennis Allen.

The Saints are a good organization. They pay talent and work the cap to get the most talent possible. They are known around the league as a well run club, which is why Free Agents who are sought after come here.

What if I told you they can still draft a rookie QB and that veteran he'd sit behind is Derek Carr?

You might be…you might not be.

I bet it’s fun being pessimistic about exciting things just in the hope that you can say, “I told you so.”

We got a good deal on a good QB. We enter this season way better off than last on this alone.

The cap will continue to grow and we will continue to kick salary into future years…it’s the way it is. Just be grateful Mickey has an open checkbook.

Man some of you mother frickers are in for a rude awakening. Just make sure you’re here to take your lumps next December when I’ll be giving them out in droves.

We can still do that. None of the QBs that will be available at our spot will be day 1 ready.

I mean loomis has in fact put together a championship team and multiple years of competing. 2 down years doesnt void that
