How the hell are we going to come back from this shite? Payton and Loomis are sitting on their asses while Tampa Bay is signing punters.

He ranked near the bottom in the league, bruh
Yeah but if you take away all those inside the 20 punts, I'm sure is average rises considerably

He's the best punter in the league, and they still have ~$45mil to spend on free agents.
They have a lot more than that unless the contract calls for the full 6 years to be paid up front.

They re-signed Jeremy Trueblood, Davin Joseph, Quincy Black, and they're in talks with Barrett Ruud and Cadillac Williams. So if you include all that with a few that aren't listed 45 seems pretty close to me. The ~ stood for approximately anyway

everyone should stop bitching about us paying our 2 time probowl strong safety at this point

I heard their water boy is about to be in the 7 figure range.

The Bucs had to SPEND $50 million to get to the MINIMUM of the Salary Cap before 6 pm today. That's likely why they had to overpay the punter. I'm sure they could CUT him- and pay it to someone else before the preseason is over.
According to someones comment on yahoo

yeah, especially after Clayton reported yesterday that the Bengals are 60 million under the cap floor now WITH Carson Palmer counting against the cap.

The Bucs should get Erxleben to help him invest it overseas.
Is he out of prison?
