And what Gayle has done since getting the keys isn’t? When you evaluate the roster, cap, coaching, scouting, you’ll see the Saints are bottom tier. That crap Sunday with cascade of boos and Lions fans taking over is the new norm for home games.

Laughable to think an owner with this pedigree will be able to compete in the cutthroat NFL. Owners typically are the among the best business people in America. We’re going nowhere.

Gayle knows nothing about football. She just owns the team.
Lausha is the one who runs the club, and Mickey handles the football operations.
The Saints have never had an active owner involved with football operations like Jerry Jones and Art Rooney.
Mecom and the Bensons were very hands-off because you could write what they knew about running a football team on the back of a postage stamp.

Why does anybody think Gayle cares about winning or losing?
She married into the franchise and inherited it. She's likely just enjoying being an owner and not worried about long term success. The team will eventually sell for billions regardless of the W-L column.
