Guice has played 5 games in his career and has never had over 13 touches. He is injury prone AF. Why would the Saints even consider it?

A useful player for a guy with glass knees? I can't imagine who says no.

ETA: ahh I didn't realize Chad was the OP. I get it now.

Everyone with half a brain says no. I've met Guice up here. Nice as hell guy but injury prone.

Guice has shown great potential but hasn't stayed healthy.

AK is struggling to maintain health as well and has shown a lack of recent production. Maybe some mild unhappiness brewing. AK also has a more near contract issue than Guice essentially lowering AK's value a bit when he's likely wanting a new deal possibly by next season. Saints of course is rolling a dice with guice's health but if he can stay healthy, he runs hard with a lot more passion and production.

AK has shown a full year of being a top 3 back.

Guice has shown 5 games of not that.

Exactly why he was such a high pick.

That's a massive but, and why he would have very little trade value at the moment.

Straight up or is Washington throwing in draft pick(s)?

Past 2 years: Kamara 3 games missed. Guice 3 trips to IR

But the Saints would be wise to listen to offers for Kamara because he's going to be too expensive to keep and Sean Payton has always been good about finding RB's in the draft or UDFA. Just not for Guice unless the Redskins sweetened the deal with picks
