Just so I don't have to start a new thread for this:

Jeremy Shockey texted in response to my question about Warren Sapp's implication that he was the one who blew open bountygate: "Bulls***."

How is this different than half of a normal season?

Well, true.

Guess this will be interesting as Shockey is denying it.

Sapp shouldn't be allowed a mic.

I think Inside the NFL has gone downhill since he and Phil Simms joined the show. That and its on Showtime now instead of HBO, I don't watch it like I used to.

Warren Sapp reporting that Jeremy Shockey reported the bounty program
Shockey's butthurt that he got outplayed by a rookie that played one year of college football.

Warren Sapp just opened up the NFL to one hell of a major league Whistleblower lawsuit regardless of whether it was Shockey or not. If Shockey was even interviewed he now has a multi-multi-million dollar lawsuit on his hands against the NFL.

Interdasting.

I guess Sapp technically is an NFL employee since he's on their network.

ETA But again, Shockey is denying this emphatically. Morestead has tweeted that Shockey was a great teammate. Not sure that really proves anything, though.

Think you are going a little overboard with that.

Shockey and Payton were really good friends. I'd be shocked if Jeremy squealed.

NFL probably had some suspicions or something. They came in and talked to some players who probably confirmed it.

Just cause he's a former player doesn't mean it was him. I mean hell we all thought it was Dinkins.
