DeMeco Ryans had an impressive first year…
Dennis Allen’s problem isn’t that he’s a defensive coach. His problem is that he’s a moron.

Defensive minded head coaches aren't going to win in this NFL Era. Outside of the few established ones remaining, they've failed over and over.
I wish people would stop repeating this meme. Vrable did a good job until this year. Demeco Ryan is probably your coach of the year. Sean McDermott just won his division. Antonio Pierce did a good job as interim head coach. Dan Campbell was a freaking TEs coach.
Plenty of offensive coaches have failed too. Doug Pederson was knocked out of the playoffs by a defensive coach. Matt Nagy sucked. Art Smith and Frank Reich were fired this year.

Damn dude, that sarcasm should have been obvious, especially with the laughing emoticon in my post. But why don't you go ahead and show us where DA touched you

You can be a defensive coach you just have to have the players’ respect as a leader and delegate what you don’t know
As for Vrabel, there was an obvious rift between him and the personnel dept. This seems almost mutual

They traded their best offensive player. Did vrabel or the GM make the call to trade aj brown? The titans were 23-10 the previous 2 seasons before the AJ trade; they've gone 13-21 post trade
It’s been well documented the gm made that trade and Vrabel was pissed it happened. Probably what muddied the waters with him there and started the slide.

I take him. I would float a 13 mil per year to Michigan HC.

In case anyone is wondering. Vrabels career record is 54-45. DAs is 24-46
Are you in favor of firing Allen to hire Vrabel?
In case you're wondering the last 2 seasons with Allen as Saints head coach he is 16-18 and Vrabel is 13-21. Both missed playoffs each season
I'm not even arguing to keep Allen really, just giving context. People on this thread say Vrabel with a competent OC would be great. What if Allen had one? Both were head coaches the last 2 seasons and had the "alpha" power to replace subpar OCs but didn't. Question is will Allen do that now, answer is he damn well should

sorry about that
with all the idiots on here saying all manner of stupid shite, it was an auto reaction to reply to the next silly thing i saw
everyone is just so depressed at how bad things are and there wont be any significant changes coming out of the FO
EDIT - the talk is already starting about how they wont make any coaching changes until after SB so all coaches are available, and we all know thats just BS to stall and do nothing

Stafanski is winning COTY and neither of those AFC coaches won shite so far in their careers. Winning the AFC South isn't saying much.
Take away Belichick, and just look at the most recent SB Winning head coaches. It's obvious
