Seriously, my comments come from when i lived Mansfield area in the late 70's. I am a black and gold bleeding Saints fan. I went to some of the first PRESEASON games in the old Tulane Stadium (Sugar BOWL). I was there on the opening game when John? Gilliam ran back the first kickoff against the Rams. I was sitting in the north endzone and he ran it back right at us. I suffered thru all the bad times, but never stopped being a fan.
Back then Shreveport and Mansfield were hotbeds of Cowboy fans. I put up with a lot of ridicule from those pricks.
This poll started me remembering about that time. I guess it is just a small way to get revenge. Again i am in NELa; have been for over 20 years. No identity crisis here.
I hope you guys get things straight there.

i honestly am not sure why people blame the fans for the game not getting on. clearly it wins the vote of the people and has beaten the cowboys even when they were winning. bitch at the stations, not fans who are stuck in a shitty town in a shitty situation.

People need to understand..Bandwagon or not, Shreveport has come quite a ways in the past 15 years on switching allegance. The simple reality is that before The Saints existed, the Cowboys had cornered the market in the area. The Saints not marketing to N West Louisiana didnt help along with the perpetual losing in the early years. The Dome Patrol changed the direction and ever since, Shreveport has been slowly(until the SB) gaining fans the right way..as children. The Deal with KMSS has to do with the expanded reach of the Station into Texas and a certain executives passion for the cowboys.

It's really sad that a FOX station has to do a poll to decide which game to show. No other FOX station in the state has to do this.
