he spent 5 years at Mizzou, came out before his 5th season. By and large was a team leader, well respected already in his locker room for both his play on the field & character.
He'll be a rookie in the NFL. Not every teammate wants to be your friend. They'll have players that are both homophobes as well as excessively religious, etc, that wont appreciate or respect his gayness.
You're just acting like because you are acceptive of it, then everyone should see the light. I agree with you, I sit around and wonder how or why anyone gives a shite. But that doesn't change the fact that there are still a lot of people out there.
Will his teammates speak out against it? Probably not. Will some quietly sham him & not accept him? I think so, 100%. Will some players complain about having to dress and shower with him? Yes!! I believe this with a ton of conviction
