You know what else is cut and dry? Video linked in the OP. You know what's cut and dry about it? Either there were no cars at that intersection or the cars have invisibility cloaks. I'll let you decide which is the more likley cause.

I'll say it again. There are at least two car lengths of space in front of Hayes that can be seen on the tape. But for LE's sake, lets assume the light turned red and hayes (and everyone in front of him) abruptly hit the brakes causing the accident.
In less than 15 seconds, you can see down Magazine and all of the supposed traffic in front of Hayes is no where in sight; no cars, no tail lights, nothing. In fact, you can see a car driving from left to right on Jackson through the intersection meaning the light is still red. This means the cars that supposedly were in front of Hayes all ran the red light and got completely out of sight in about 10 seconds?

What sucks for you is that you can see the light on Magazine turn red from the other angle. You've been defeated. Shut the frick up already.
ETA: Go to 34 seconds in the video in the OP. Magazine clearly had a green light.

I'll also say this, they only traveled a half of mile total as noted by LE too. At first intersection on tape, Hayes was a Good bit in front of Will. Then will gets closer, then finally he's near his butt when he got brake checked.
Does it kind of remotely make sense that Hayes had already spotted Will Smith while passing (big black guy getting into his high profile Mercedes SUV on Magazine St w/ his ole lady) Will gets in car, starts down magazine ......

you screen caps are bullshite too. The hummer clearly starts to brake with about 2 car lengths of space in front of it. In fact, you can see two cars parallel parked across the street between the right hand frame of the video and Hayes's grill.
Besides, you still haven't explained why all of those cars ran the red light and disappeared as Smith fleed the scene.

in the versions i saw....
when it swaps to the angle looking towards the intersection there is about a 10 or so second delay between the cars pulling away and him entering the frame in his attempt to pull over (essentially the same delay between smith hitting him and his attempt to pull over in the video facing the other way)
it looked to me like he stopped a little over a car length behind the last car towards the end of the red light. gets bumped, light turns pretty close to the same time. he remains for about 10 or so seconds (probably thinking WTF did that guy really just bump me, what do i need to do now) and then smith takes off as he starts to pull out of the street.

20 seconds goes by from the time Will SMith rear ends him and they actually pull off. Are you saying this isnt enough time for the red light to clear?
