How do you vote an offensive guy the mvp but dont vote him offensive player of the year?

The offensive player of the year is often times considered the MVP consolation prize

NO ONE KNOWS what the definition of MVP is anymore, at least offensive player of the year is easier to determine, appears more a merit-based award however probably pretty difficult to compare skill players to QBs in the analysis though

Usually the best QB wins one (usually MVP), while the best HB/WR/TE (rarely TE) wins the other.
