Until people quit showing up to games, quit buying concessions nothing will happen

Quit attending games, quit buying the $10 beers and Nachos etc. and perhaps you see some change. Otherwise they think we are overreacting and take a chill pill. They want you to know we have had a rough year with the easiest schedule. Trust the process. Playoff ticket orders will be emailed next week . Blah blah That is how management feels.

I may get downvoted for this but the NFL machine has shifted so far away from ticket sales toward broadcast deals, international markets, and merchandising that even an empty stadium has no effect on the bottom line overall. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure it doesn’t look good on television to have an empty stadium for games (Covid proved that), but I think the Saints can survive the financial hit of reduced ticket sales and concessions.
Truthfully, we are stuck with Dennis Allen and the financial hell until we embrace the tanking. Even then, you hire a coach that probably cannot do much until you get out of salary cap hell for at least 2 years, assuming you don’t do anymore cap magic. I don’t like it anymore than you do but sadly not showing up to games may not be the answer you hope it to be.

college is the same way, football has become a TV product, that's the revenue driver/
I'll say the saints are a little different because Gayle isn't on the same level of wealth as the modern NFL owners so losses of any revenue do sting a little more...but then again none of it is really her money anyway. She didn't earn it and has no one really to give it all to when she passes.

ok but this still isn't relevant for the Saints.
The Saints have one of the smallest(though rabid) fan bases in the NFL. People in international markets don't want to watch shitty NFL teams and they sure as hell aren't going to by Merch.

TV deals and merchandise sales are shared equally amongst the 32 teams. Saints get 1/32 of every Kelce jersey sold to a Taylor Swift fan in Hong Kong, Chiefs get 1/32 of an AK jersey bought in Marrero.
Even ticket sales aren't wholly the teams, 60% goes to the home team, 40% to the league
Parking and concessions are really the only thing you can ding the actual franchise on

Well then Goodell loses money. Even better. When the other owners see they not making money off us they lose too.
Ask the Chargers how things are going in LA.

If people quit going to the games, the Bensons will just sell the team and it will move out of Louisiana. So, this is a stupid idea.

Every team can survive it. The google shite we can see isn’t the truth but with some light research you can see that every team clears a minimum of 60 million in profit a year.
Dead stadium might knock that down. But a business outlook will tell you that you don’t need to make a *MEASLY* 60 million, but maximize your investment. So hopefully the geriatric split tail that owns this abortion will sale it to someone that wants to maximize and not just go eat at Commander’s Palace
