I don't care who writes the checks so long as there is accountability. If she fires Loomis then that shows proper accountability in my book. Her firing Loomis would tell me she isn't scared to fire anyone and I'd like that

Correct. It's on Loomis. But they will never fire him. Best we can hope for is re-assign him where he's not in charge of anything regarding personnel or finances.

If you want to be honest Gayle is the problem. If she really cared about the Saints, the coach and GM would have both been fired today. If firing the coach really came from her, it was nothing more than a politician trying to appease an imagined both sides in this scenario. The difference is, most lifelong Saints fans also know the GM has to go. I’ll always be grateful to him for what he accomplished, but he thinks he’s untouchable and evidently he’s right.
