This was a bad college football level coaching loss.

Controlled the game, had a chance to really have a chance at the division the last month of the season, and totally piss it away.

I’ve been patient and optimistic. Allen needs to be fired tomorrow. Full stop.

On 2nd down on our last drive we had Kamara, Adam Prentice, Taysom, Trautman, and Kirk Merritt as our weapons on the field.

That’s indescribable.

3rd and 17 and Taysom Hill is our target

3rd and 1 and Marquez Callaway is our target

I mean, you want to get a deep shot to Kirk Merritt? That’s cool.

Not in that fricking spot!

Made men at the top don’t care. They’ll use the injury excuse to defend Allen’s record

And none of them were in the middle of the field. So Dalton had no outlet.

We slam Kamara into the line like 17 times tonight and get Ingram in space

Let Pete make copies or whatever he did under Payton. This is retarded

It was also just a 2 man route.

Treating Merritt like he’s Tyreek Hill

At least do it with Shaheed if that’s the stupid play you want to call

That was a horrendous play call but Ingram had an easy first down the play before and pulled up. Also Olave (your 2023 first round pick) dropped an easy TD and so did Landry. Of course 3 scoring drives and 9 points isn’t going to cut it.

You can fire Allen if it makes you feel better but it won’t make as much difference as some of you think. Bad contracts are one thing when you’re making a SB run but constantly trading away picks like the one for Olave when you are rebuilding is a bigger problem.

I can blame a new player every week, and I have.

But the common denominator is coaching. When you have the collection of consistent mistakes in every single game, that’s coaching and preparation.

A tweet from Underhill that kinda sums it up:

quote:

No one got open on the second-down sack but the only receiver on the field got brought up from the practice squad today.
