Im ready.
UDFA are my favorites all the hype.
In annual tradition. This thread is only regarding saints signings, please DO NOT post anything that is not saints related here.
I will be updating the top post with the names of the people we learn are signing with the team, and I will try to add videos in case I can find them.
This thread compliments the official 2022 draft class posted earlier.
Many of the Signings come from SaintsWire.
Signings:
1) Abram Smith, running back, Baylor
2) Joel Dublanko, linebacker, Cincinnati
3) Lucas Krull, tight end, Pittsburgh
4) Rashid Shaheed, wide receiver/kr, Weber State
5) Nephi Sewell, linebacker, Utah State
6) Damarcus Fields, defensive back, Texas Tech
7) Smoke Monday, safety, Auburn
8) Eric Wilson, Guard, Penn State
9) Daniel Whelan, punter, UC Davis
10) Derk Schweiger, Offensive lineman, Iowa State

1) Tyrone Lewis Kidd, offensive lineman, Montana State
2) CJ Holmes, safety, Jackson State

1 guy I have my sights on is local kid from Nicholls State, Dai’Jean Dixon. That’s if he doesn’t get drafted in 7th but the kid catches everything and set multiple records.

If he doesn’t go here soon I’d really like Justyn Ross. He’s clearly not as valued as I thought he’d be. Didn’t he torch Bama in that natty ?

I’d really like to see us get Sincere McCormick. I got to watch him a lot this year and he’s a little wrecking ball on the field. Good awareness, quick feet, and has a great feel for creating angles against the defender that always lets him fall forward. If he was 3 inches taller, he’d be a Tyler Allgeier clone. Which for a UDFA would be superb value.

It was because of the injuries. He had a spinal fusion surgery that cost him all of 2020. And he missed some games this past season with a foot injury. Playing with that shite Clemson QB probably didn’t help him numbers either

The Saints are signing Weber State dynamo Rashid Shaheed, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, who finished his career with the third-most all-purpose yards in school history. But he’s undersized at 5-foot-10.5 and 181 pounds and needs to continue impressing in the return game if he’s going to make the team.
