Most NFL games are close and come down to the very end

We couldn't run the ball because we lost the best player left from our already depleted offensive line.

Some of you aren't very bright.

This exactly.

This is why Las Vegas (the institutional gambling interests there) love the NFL format so much.

The Saints are a combined 41-16 the past 3 seasons plus this year, 72% winning pct.

But please continue your doom & gloom

It wasn't a loss, but it was a familiar pattern. Whether you want to call it a sense of urgency on the other team or being cautious by the Saints.

The Saints always seem to go into a shell on defense against the passing attack of the other team during the 4th quarter especially with the lead. Allen always wants to play this bend, don't break defense where they are willing to surrender multiple first downs until they up against the red zone.

On offense the play calling changes too much. Payton goes with higher percentage plays to get completions to keep the clock moving.

Yesterday the Saints took a drive down to the Lions' 37 after they cut the lead to 14. If the Saints get another 5 to 8 yards there then a FG is likely that would have put the game out of reach.

Payton calls two running plays in a row why to run more clock I would guess. On 1st and goal at the 37 We run Kamara for a -1 loss and then we come back on 2nd and 11 and run Murray for a 2 yard loss. You are at the 39 after the first play. I would have given Brees a short throw given how the running game was then performing.

Pretty easy to see were gonna let Marcus Williams walk and potentially Lattimore if he doesnt take a reduced rate contract.

Ramy will 100% get paid.
