I know dude is always hurt but I don't see anyone giving him much money.
If he could just stay healthy you give him a one year incentive laden contract which is all he is going to get, let him come here and rehab his value if he stays healthy

I think since its a given Fleener will be back for atleast one more year given his contract, it would be better to invest in a TE in the first or third round.
Imo we either draft a guy in first or draft a DL/OLB first and trade up for a TE in mid second round. This way the draft picks contract doesnt make our TE’s worth a fat chunk of the salary.

I know that's my ideal situation too.
Everyone knows we need to draft a tight end but it doesnt always work out like that.

He's elite when healthy so i'm thinking someone will give him a big contract.
I'm still curious about the end game with Fleener. I'd assume they want him to take a pay cut but you also just guaranteed him an extra $3 million.

I like the Trey Burton idea from Philly. He's set to leave and won't ask for too much money. Great athlete and going into his fifth healthy year in the league. Also, may throw a TD pass to brees in the superbowl.
