The schedule was arse. We beat up on some arse teams and got beat by any competent team. Good teams blew us out. This teas was arse.

I'm flabbergasted that the Saints were +11 in the turnover differential this season.

yet last season they were -11 and we only won 2 more games this season.

I mean if you had told me prior to this season that the Saints picked off 18 passes and recovered 11 fumbles and that was good for +11 in TO differential, I would have at least thought with this schedule that should be good enough for 11-6 record. 10-7 at worst.

nope just a notch below at 9-8 is what we got.

makes me fricking sick!

THE DEFENSE HAS REGRESSED.

Yup. Defense went from top 5 to 13th.

Offense went from mid twenties to 14th.

Foskey looks like a whiff.

If you miss on Fosky after whiffing on Turner and Davenport and to top that off let the league leader in pressures the last three/four years walk? Someone needs to be fired. And dint even get me started on them passing on Branch for Fosky.

Maybe it’s time to discuss what nobody is talking about-

IMO this team came in overconfident (weak division, 2nd easiest schedule, clicking on training camp) and then stepped on their dicks coming out of the gate. It took them 12 weeks to shake off the cobwebs of shock and embarrassment and start working together as a team.

I think a lot of the talking heads have it right, the older veterans are still too used to the winning easy ways of the CSP/DB era and may be having a hard time buying into a new regime and also getting that hunger back.

Even though the season didn't start and ultimately end up being what we wanted I still think there are a lot of good signs that this team can make the step to the next level if they clean up a few things and get everyone on beard with the plan or get rid of those that don't want to be a part of it.

You're stuck with Cam due to his cap hit. Have to hope it was his ankle that kept him quiet all year, and not age. Regardless, he'll be on the team next season. They really need more d line help, thiugh. The pass rush this year was not good. Granderson started off good, and then disappeared.

Thought he said his ankle injury was the last 7 games or so.

He was pretty ineffective since the start of the season. He may have just fell of that cliff and there’s no going back.
