I think they head to San Diego once the season is over.

Drew runs his house, the way God intended.

Her job is to make breakfast and future quarterbacks.

He could have or he could have went home and had a situation somewhat like what was referred to earlier

Hey honey pack up all your shite, rip the kids out of school this summer, and lets go freeze our asses off in Minnesota for 2 years. I really need that extra 10 million because the 100 I have in the bank and all my investments arent enough.

I don't think there is any doubt by anyone in this thread that thinks Brees did not want to stay in NOLA, for his family, CSP, teammates, where he's been the last 12 years etc.

the Brees's live in San Diego for most of the off season already & will prob live there when he retires. So it's not like aren't mobile.

and he didnt just leave 10 million on the table if the reports are accurate.

one has to wonder how invested Drew is or isn't in the 2019 season. maybe they are on the same page, that this may be his last season.

Denver has a little less than $30M available for free agency this year. Over 20% of that $30M is alloted to draft choices.
I doubt Denver made the offer.

or for 8 months out of the year. The kids are already going to school in 2 different states. Yea, you're not wrong but let's not pretend it would be that hard to do.

yeah, they've had a system in place for their kids for many years now. These two places are their kids' homes. It still is a big deal to uproot a family of 4 young kids and change their life for a brief 2 yr time window.

The guy has been here over a decade, has probably 100 million, and has basketball team of kids that he probably doesnt just want to up and move to play for maybe 2 to 3 years

You're getting hammered, but this is likely a big part of it.

It's a mix of his family being the most important thing to him and wanting them to he comfortable as well as his loyalty to the city and team.

He was never going to Denver. They're the only ones who think they're a "QB" away from another run. They badly need coaching help, better O-line play, and a QB.

Minnesota was the only real option. When Minnesota talked to Drew's agent yesterday and found out it was done deal, but just not announced due to Zach's retirement, they signed Cousins.

I never said it wouldn't be a big deal, but you just said it yourself. Brief. Temporary. Small window. If they can leave New Orleans for San Diego every offseason they are well equipped to move to Minnesota for half the year for 2 years.
