And I just thought of this:
Many here (myself mostly included) believe that as long as Sean Payton is the coach Goodell "will not allow" the Saints to win another title.

Payton wasn’t the problem. I love Brees but his inability to deliver the ball deep kills us. We are so limited on offense. Michael Thomas being shut down didn’t help either nor did Cooks fumble. Defense looked good with our clear weak spot being Anzalone. Really missed Kwon in that game

If Brees was the problem, why didn’t Sean Payton start one of his two franchise QB’s that are sitting on the bench.
And you will really mis Keon next year.
