Add 2 inches and slap a star on his helmet and they are adding his face to Mt. Rushmore right now.

I hate that the dumbasses covering the NFL mention height with Brees every time.

He has the most yards and most completions of any QB in NFL history. Not the most if any shorter than 6 feet.

Height was relevant in the combine and draft when he was a rookie. Why has it been relevant the past 10+ years? How does it make him less great than Brady, Manning, etc? That is the dumbest take in sports. Anyone saying it should be disqualified from sharing an opinion.

Wrong, if Brees had the prototypical QB height, he possibly wouldn’t be the player he is. His lack of stature gives him the drive to be the best.

Change my mind.

I am only 6 foot tall, my little brother was 6 foot 4 inches. I can still kick his arse. Height is over rated

That is such a silly metric. Like shouldn’t him being several inches shorter than the other greats and STILL having all these records actually be points in his favor?

Which is retarded because he is doing BETTER than most guys in the history of football who are all taller than him.

Him being short makes what he is doing that much more impressive.

Was having this conversation with a buddy of mine (who happens to be black) the other day
He also said Drew is the best short QB. I said that’s basically the same as racism. He disagreed.

Me: What if he was black and I said he was the best black QB ever?
Him: Damn...you got me. I’d have hung up on you

Lol. Manny Pacquiao whooped Oscar Dela Hoya and Antonio Margaritos asses and they were 6+ inches taller than him and had atleast 5 more inches of reach. Height dont mean shite.

The sports media will bring up height because if they bring up defense they know Brees would have won 7 rings with the Patriots defense over the last 18 years.

Call me crazy but if I had to choose one QB of every one who's ever played, I'd probably choose John Unitas before anyone else believe me Drew deserves all the accolades he receives but how Johnny U played, how he mastered the game intellectually as a field general, how he innovated and perfected the 2 minute drill before that was even a concept, his command of his team and how he could dictate and dominate an entire game as a QB in that era when defenses could literally destroy opposing offenses, it was so influential he was just a master technician out there, the NFL records he held at the time speak for themselves, the ultimate artist as a QB. Drew deserves great props of course but we're talking the cream of the absolute crop in football with the great all-time QBs they didn't call Johnny U the Golden Arm for nothing.

Height isn't overrated when you're trying to view the field and place the ball and everyone in front of you is a half foot taller.
