I find it odd that the saints haven't reported anything about Suh since before Benson's wake, so unless they asked him to not say anything until his funeral after out of respect to Benson. If the saints were no longer interested or wanted Suh they would have said something. That lets me believe me do infact still have a good shot, unlike that rumor that said it's between the Titans and Rams.

That Titans and Rams thing was some dweeb cardinals beat writer that I don't think is very credible. Even espn was still talking about "best fit" teams for Suh yesterday and still had the Saints in their article. I think he's likely going rams but I think we are very much still in the mix. I feel like we may hear something today. I hope so I'm ready to move on one way or the other.

The longer this Suh issue drags on, the more it's beginning to feel like the takeover of the US Embassy in Iran with the Who Dat Nation serving as the hostages.

I tend to think that it is better for us. The Benson services are the key. If he was going to LA or Tenn, he would make the announcement and sign. If it’s us, the Saints will not allow an announcement to be made to overshadow Mr. Benson, and rightfully so. Suh’s signing would do that. But bringing him right after would allow the team and organization to move on to the next chapter very quickly. Also, if he has an agreement to be a Saint, he would, out of respect for Mr. Benson and his new employers, keep the announcement quiet until the time was right. It’s not like his deal is going to disappear.
