Monday December 23, 7:15pm ESPN
U. S. Bank Stadium
MIN -4.5. O/U 45.5

Per another thread, scenarios for the Saints bye chances going forward.

Saints win.

Any GB loss OR Seattle win means the Saints are #2.

Both mean #1

Vikings win and we control our own destiny for a first round bye. Also opens door for one seed if 49ers lose next week.

I really wish Kirk Cousins wasn’t absolute trash in primetime games.

They 3 seed this year gets the reward of playing Green Bay/Minnesota or San Fran/Seattle in the first round

I was listening to NFL radio on Sirius this morning and the consensus from the hosts was the Vikings shouldn't go all out to win this game because they may not win the division anyway.

I hope Mike Zimmer doesn't feel this way.

They HATE Green Bay like we hate the falcons

Would you want to block the falcons from getting a bye?

Yes
They would love to spoil Green Bay’s 1 or 2 seed

If I were the Vikings I would much rather face Philly in the first round, than any other team in the playoffs.

As a Vikings fan absolutely not. Philly is beat up but I have no faith in Minny if the game is not in a dome.

Rather face Dallas with their bad coaching, rotating their best players out with the game on the line.

Philly is a much more dangerous team in the postseason than Dallas imo.

They can stop the run and despite all the injuries on offense they keep manufacturing offense. Pederson and Wentz with an emerging Sanders are going to be a tough out imo.
