So does Winston, it's the decision making that got him benched

Got to improve the pass blocking and got to get better in the red zone.

The good news is we are adding one of the best TD makers in the league in Kamara in week 4.

It’s a work in progress, but on balance I’m happy with Carr. And he is going to feed Kamara in the passing game I think in a way we haven’t seen since Brees.

Some really bad playcalling today. Carr looked out of whack and made some really bad decisions/throws

Red zone play calling is suspect.

Penning needs to improve his pass blocking. That left side always has someone running untouched. Not sure about the Hurst/Penning combo on the left. Carr is shitting bricks and it's affecting his throws even when there is time. 1st half he was throwing 2020 Drew Brees type ducks. Carmichael and his play calling have not helped either.

This is spot on. Unfortunately, I think oline and playcalling will be an issue throughout the season. We’re not deep at all on the oline and frankly I dont see guys like Hurst, Penning or even Ruiz taking any big steps forward this season. For better or worse, DA will stick with Carmicheal but keep an eye out on Ron Curry- he was calling plays during preseason. If Carmicheal doesn’t get some consistency, I can see DA during the season going to Curry. In all honesty DA should have addressed both these issues in the offseason but assumed signing Carr would solve these issues. So far hes wrong.

Carr has a weak arm and floats the ball. He and his receivers lack timing and are not on the same page. Throws a lot into double coverage. No running game and few passes to backs out of the backfield, no screen passes.

Carr is still better than the past few years after Brees

Might need to go the packers route
Draft a qb next draft or year after
See who drops in draft

Did you just say the Jury is still out Carmichael? This is year 2 and the jury is in and it’s unanimous. He is dog shitt. He has zero creativity and cannot get his playmakers the ball in space. Yes, the Oline isn’t helping, for instance, we just ran the ball down the field and scored a td, we have the ball back, it’s 3rd and 2, and pass blocking has been bad all game. This moron calls a 5 step drop, oline collapses and it’s a sack. We punt. That is so inexcusable. Carmichael should be fired today. He should have been fired in the off-season. The guy cannot design plays in the red zone and get the ball in the end zone. We have so many playmakers we can move the ball up and down the field. When the field shrinks play design is the difference. This tard learned nothing from the best offensive mind the league had possibly ever seen in 16 years sitting behind him.

Carr needs to be moving. Last night the defense ALWAYS knew where he would be, then he'd get smothered.
