This was a 12-5 type team last year with Winston. I’m glad he’s back

I don’t get the Winston hate here. He was playing better each week and I thought he had his best football in front of him. He had no receivers worth much of anything. He needed some guys who could get open. Why are people here so down on him. No, he isn’t a top 3 QB, but we can win with him.

Add talent to the defense and get some WRs and a good TE.

We’ll be fine.

We’ll be average. It is what it is. Don’t mind the guy but we’re not going very far with him at qb!

These idiots just wanted something different just to see something different. Screw em. Lots of em wanted Payton gone but lost their collective shite when it happened.

I’m happy JW is down to ride. We got him for a steal. If we can draft a #2 wr, we’re gonna be a problem in the NFC. I think better than 12-5, actually.

I like Jameis a lot. Not sure I believe in Pete’s ability to coach him, but I can be convinced. We’ll see.

Jameis has a floor as a top 15-20 QB and a ceiling around top 10. This is a low risk move and you know you’ll get a decent QB on a somewhat friendly deal.

don't hate him....actually was OK with him last year, and leading up to his injury he appeared to be "guiding" the team just fine.

but after the injury, and him probably being nothing more than a "guider" i guess i was ready to move on, but with who i don't know........so i'm good with it, not thrilled to death, but good.

If Payton was still here I'd be happier with signing him, but either way I'm still happy that he is coming back. Hopefully he can keep growing as a qb the way he was last year.

I just don't know what to expect for this coming year. We could be better than we were last year because of the players we are getting back. Just getting Thomas back will be huge for Winston. But no Payton is keeping me from being excited.
