post practice attention
Ya never know, this guy might be the next Colston-Evans-Graham-etc player to make the leap to high impact NFLer from obscurity. LSU wanted him bad. He might be a Michael Brockers detoured through Regina type talent

The schedule itself could be the diff between 13-3 and 11-5 or 10-6
Battle tested is what I call it.

I felt this away about Hicks heading into the draft. I thought he could be 6-7 round possibility but I would never have guessed the team would have taken him in the 4th. Either way, I'm excited he is in Black & Gold.
The potential for him to dominant inside was there but his showing the week of the East-West Shrine game lead me to believe he could rush from the outside ala Albert Haynesworth when Haynesworth was actually good. Hicks potential is sky high & he has ability to be much then some DT's who where picked ahead of him.

the one good thing about the schedule is that other than a hot carolina game(sep 16) and a dec. New York (Dec.9) game; the weather shouldn't impact us that much.
Greenbay(sep 30) is pretty early in the year, Denver(oct 28) is semi early.
The @tb to @ denver back to back is a tough two weeks but it's right after the bye
other than that, it's not bad weatherwise considering we will be in the dome for the post season and SB.
In good weather, on turf; I like this teams chances against anyone.

A healthy secondary for ONCE would be nice.
