I agree with that totally.
This team has been committing a lot of penalties and was turning the ball over from the get.
I can't remember now but who were the other candidates that we interviewed before Alan was just given the job?
I know that Brian Flores was a guy that they interviewed but that felt like a just going through the motions type of deal.
I think Doug Pederson got an interview and that certainly would have been a better hire.
I admit that I thought Alan would have a better chance at success with the Saints because of the roster that we had. But it became clear after a few games that there was something very wrong.
I know there's a lot of season left and maybe against the Steelers we hit rock bottom but it just sucks right now because it just doesn't feel like there's anything to look forward to.
I mean even if they fired Dennis Allen at the end of the season I don't know if the front office could hire anyone much better.
And it's been said already but this isn't exactly a desirable situation with the Saints right now.
