Depends on how it’s calculated. Some of that is likely on the safety help too, but sadly Lattimore has been mediocre this season. I think Allen has te playing too much zone coverage, and the players suck at it.

In hindsight, Tre White may have been the correct pick if Lattimore doesn't right the ship.

Correct. Lattimore has struggled but one of the issues with Dennis Allen defenses is the safety play. I’m not sure if I’ve seen our guys in the right position in 4 years. We’re basically playing with 9 defenders every passing play.

What gets me about Lattimore this year is he is ALWAYS there, just not making any plays on the ball. He has given up like 400 yards, but probably only like 20 yards of YAC. For a guy with elite ball skills, he can't seem to find it this year.

He hasn't been mediocre he has been horrendous. If his name wasn't marshon lattimore everyone would be calling for him to be benched

The saints in general do this every year. I don’t understand how our fans aren’t used to this by now? They are generally bad at the beginning of the year especially on defense. He will improve.
