how many sacks thru three games? we have heard the excuses for the 1st two games--Marriotta is a mobile threat and Brady got rid of the ball quick. What about yesterday? Baker Friggin Mayfield.

How many rushing yards given up? Didnt McCaffery go over 100?

How many INTs?

Friends, this is a pretty good defense. not the 86 Bears.

I don't know if it's championship caliber but they have certainly been good enough to win games if we had even a mid-tier offense.

We gave up 26, 20, 22 and the second and third game were more due to the ineptness of the offense and the refs rather than the defense playing bad. With our offensive weapons we should be 3-0 even with those numbers.

DL is not looking so hot tho. They used to get after everyone especially Brady.

Not surprising considering Cam is at the end of his rope and we drafted two project DEs that should have never been taken as highly as they were.

I think they recognize your thoughts and understand - from the interviews I’ve listened. Are they now? No. Can they be? I would say yes.

They are admitting their mistakes, it’s not like they’re throwing the blame on the offense. That has merit. Both sides need to get better.

Good enough to carry a bad offense? No. Our D as of now is solid and the least of my worries. There has also been some bad breaks, horrible timing with bad penalties.

They’re on the field a helluva lot bc the offense is an abortion with Winston.

I think the London (home) could be beneficial for the team in general. We're reeling now. Time to regroup away from all the negativity.

They've been trying to drag this team to wins, but SB caliber defenses force a lot of turnovers and sacks.

Didn’t we get 3 sacks on Mayfield?

watching several other games this weekend, its pretty obvious our D line is not what we were hoping. we do not get a sacks or disrupt plays like we thought we would. and if\when we blitz, seems like it always picked up...maybe because our D lineman aren't winning battles and the O line is straight up going 1 on 1 with them.

regardless of the reason, just seems like we're not getting to the qb nearly enough.

Correct- we’ve played 2 bad offenses & 1 that was really banged up. No pass rush & no INTs will not hold. MUST find the pass rush.

This defense is one of the best in the NFL and has played good enough to win ALL 3 games.

1 Simple Fact:

The Saints offense and special teams have given up more points than the DEFENSE.

Let that sink in. That's just shamefully embarrassing with the weapons (on paper) that we have....

There was no excuse losing to that pathetic arse Panthers team. We are mired with turnovers and penalties. This is why we are 1-2.
