what is amazing to me - is through 2 weeks, we are like 6 or so points less through that span than we were in 09.

Biggest difference between 2009 and 2024 so far is we have an elite defense that hasn’t given up 20 points in a game yet. 2009 first two games we gave up a combined 49 points.
2024 we have given up only 29 total. We are averaging over 30 points in just the first half alone. It’s insane that in the NFL you have put your back up qb in the first two games to finish them.

? It was said a few times, several times by me, he was the number qb the last 4 games of the season last year. He led in comp% tds and qb rating.

Of all the unbelievable stats from the Dallas games, this is it for me:
we scored 44 points and threw the ball only 16 times, with no defensive or special team TDs.

It's been such a pendulum swing from my expectations going into the season that I am a little disoriented. I don't know how optimistic I should be. I have no idea how this season will be looking in 4, 8, and 15 weeks from now. But Goddamn I'm gonna enjoy the frick out of the ride
