There is no coach who makes this team a contender next season

And that’s okay.
We either need to hire someone who is okay with a rebuild or a long-term plan, or we need to hire our Matt Luke to fall on the sword next year as we prepare to blow it up.
Problem being: Mickey isn’t looking to hire someone who will cost him his job.
So it’s an odd situation. I don’t know why any young up and comer would take the gig for the same reason I don’t know why any McCarthy type would.
It kinda feels like a Rizzi-reset to me.

Team just needs to clean the cap, start that at least. Lose many games, which they will, draft high and draft well.
Only way for a one year turnaround would be if another QB like Daniels fell into our lap….ain’t happening.
