Is this confirmed? If so I'm glad Bighill will be back.

As long as he clears waivers.

Makes sense why we heard they were mulling over whether he'd clear waivers (which still has to happen).
I imagine Tapp gets the boot for Snead, if he's even still here by then. 10 DLinemen with 7 being DEs (even if some can play DT) is a bit much.

Yeah I agree. May be LeRibeus though since Armstead may be back by then.

I thought that at first but Armstead is a tackle (which surprises me they didn't keep Harris instead, but we have Kelemete and Peat that can slide out if need be I guess) and we RARELY go under 8 on the OLine.
Meanwhile 10 is the most we've carried on the Dline and never with 7 DEs. Seems one of them will get the axe at some point.
And if Bighill does clear, 17 is a record I believe for number of players carried in the front 7 on defense.

Is this confirmed? Really hoping it's true and he clears waivers. Aside from liking his play and potential I was worried about 2 of our 6 LBs being injured, not to mention one of them is Anthonthy.

I believe Stupar is okay now, and Anthony should be close. But the other 4 are more than enough to fill in, especially considering we are in base only 25-33% of the game, meaning only 2 LBs on the field most of the game anyway.

Ahead being out really hurts the look of our wide receivers. That is a thin group

Anthony over Bighill is a head scratcher. Probably due to money owed to Anthony. It's nowhere near the paydays we've handed out to past players that were traded or released. Who knows.

But why even cut Bighill? Why not cut Edmunds? No one was picking him up.

Edmunds' dad played in the NFL. You knew he would make the roster. Payton has a hard-on for those kids.

Waiver period ends at 11 am central, and teams have until 12 pm central to sign PS players.
The Saints normally don't announce until the next day, so we'll have to scour twitter and such for he gets signed.

Really surprised with only having 4 WRs on the roster. I can't remember the last time I've seen that happen on a Saints team.

It would make more sense if they kept Cadet. It's really surprising now. If things stand as-is with that group we must be really expecting to split our TEs and RBs out wide a lot

Kamara, Fleener, Hill, and Hooman can all flex out if need be, and we only activate 4 receivers on gameday unless one is a returner and/or gunner.
And this is only a 3 week thing. So unless we are planning on a receiver getting hurt before the bye we'll be more than fine.
Also, iirc we kept only 4 WRs on the week one roster in 2014 until bringing Meachem back week 2 (for salary reasons). So it's happened before and recently.
