Keep boycotting the games, we actually have a winning team this year, and some of us real fans are enjoying the shite out of it. I'm mature enough to not give a shite if they want to kneel for 1 minute before the game.

Most of you people "boycotting" didn't spend money on the Saints/NFL to begin with.

Just got rid of some of the non NOLA post Katrina bandwagoners so can't complain there. The true fans are still here.

Every person I’ve heard constantly talking about boycotting nfl I’ve never heard mention football beforehand. Not one person I know, police, firefighter, military, who has always watched football is boycotting, we all still pumped up about Saints!!

ETA: i do think some of the people who only watched for fantasy football may have quit. But frick those people

I wouldn't call that a protest though against the players kneeling.

That has more to do with the FO taking a knee every year in regards to all football operations.

You guys miss the point. The diehards aren't the ones making the NFL rich beyond it knows what to do with. It's the passive fans, the casual fans, the bandwagon fans, the middle aged women, etc that make the differences in ratings and money to be made in marketing etc.

Well maybe if they lose enough of those fans...they will have a greater need to appease the fans that came before. Like the ones who liked contact, defense, and only sports talk on air unless a real national tragedy occurred.

if nothing else I will settle for Goodell being fired.

I agree with that. I honestly wish nfl would go back to how it was in 80s and 90s and even before though. I hate hearing women talking about football, my wife hates it thank God. I hate fantasy football, or hearing people talk about their new favorite teams. I like the “old” days where you had one team you gave a major frick about, but you also just watched football. No care about uniform colors, fantasy players, quarterback ratings, chicks digging nfl. I’d rather the nfl lose some money and go back under the radar somewhat.

I literally made the same points like 8 times

You act like we give a shite how much the league makes every year. Maybe they won't be able to pay an idiot commish 50 mil anymore but that's not our problem. Maybe the owners will have to settle for owning 14 mansions instead of 15. If the team wins then who cares. The nfl will have more than enough money to keep the lights on and you'd be an idiot to think otherwise. It will always be the best football league on earth and the best football players will continue to play.

Well the fans won't. I'd almost rather the NFL be more like the NHL fan wise and get rid of all the commercialIzation bullshite. Make it about football again. Every damn thing at the games has a sponsor attached.

i was in the military, been to the middle east twice and i still watch the saints.

it's not as if the players are something we thought they weren't.

the adolescent mind is always looking for an excuse to stir up shite. i just think it's funny.

people shouldn't let a buncha kids get under their skin.

that said, those jackasses better keep protesting. 5-0 ftmfw.
