5 Days ago we put up 35 points in 1 half against the previously undefeated #1 Los Angeles Rams in the Super Dome. We finished it off with 10 points in clutch time to add up to an electric 45 points against the 8-0 team with the number 10 passing Defense coming into the game containing the best assortment of defensive talent money can buy. Our team has been improving a noticeable amount on a game by game basis. In short, we are playing like the best team in the league right now and riding a 7 game win streak against very stingy teams on the road to prove it.

We had Dez Bryant for a whole 2 days. It was glorious. Every saints fan was filled with an absolutely immense sense of pride and confidence that the NFC and the NFL were absolutely fricked. We even heard of Who Dats buying SuperBowl tickets a super bowl was so sure. We all heavily enjoyed the feeling of being the best team in the NFL with not much competition for the first time since possibly 2011.

But at the end up the day, we were still the best team in the entire league on absolute fire before this signing. If the team signs a number 3 wide reciever to simply replace Meredith, who has only played in 25% or less total snaps in the last 3 games(and not much in this season in total), We will simply still be the same team team that looked dominant offensively and steadily improving defensively in its last 7 games with the best offensive line in football and playmakers galore. Oh Yea, and its led by a Drew Brees that seems to be playing at level he’s never reached before in terms of efficiency.

#1 in most power rankings.

This dez injury seems to only be galvanizing this team even more. I may seem like a homer but thats just how i really see it.

People were just pumped about what Dez could add to this O. I agree that our O is already great. Ginn will be back prior to the playoffs and will give us a boost. Weird since Ginn is much older than Dez, maybe will will roll next year with a healthy Meredith and bring Dez back on a 1 year deal

Many X’s will be thrown up in end zones this Sunday. I feel so terrible for Dez. I hope they play hard for him.

That's what I am hoping for as well.

Dez still needs a year to prove himself.

Especially now.. coming off any injury..

I could be wrong but isn't a ruptured Achilles pretty much a career ender for a 30 year old WR? Maybe he can play again but I feel like he won't be back to where we hoped he'd be before the injury.

You are correct. But Kobe used some anti gravity training in China that helped him come back. Nfl and nba are completely different though.

I actually think it’s more realistic we will bring Dez back because the team obviously liked him, as did Payton, and no other team will take the risk with a 30 year old coming off an Achilles

Not necessarily. Maybe if he was 33+, he turned 30 last week, he can potentially recover sometime next season. Over 70% with similar injuries return to football. It won't be easy, but it's not impossible or unlikely.
