I cannot argue against your words because business is business. There may very well be a plan in motion to either move a franchise or close one down for future opportunities elsewhere.

You can see a prefect set of circumstances at play here with the death of the owner, family ownership tension drama, aging stadium facilities, new stadium complexes with multiple marketing options, an aging ownership of the entire league, a small market, higher personnel costs, and more?

And I don’t need to watch WW2 documentaries to know about PTSD. I have family members with it so I know it well and up close. I was just throwing out a extreme analogy to make a point how messed up this whole fiasco is.

Because, as long as this injustice is allowed to stand, you know you can't really be a Saints fan anymore
That is a completely absurd take. Nothing will stop me from being a Saints fan.

So, eventually, the support will dry up, and the league will move the team to San Antonio or San Diego or Portland or Mexico City, and the thing that you loved for all of your life is gone. That's what was lost Sunday. It's not just a game. It's not just a season. It's not the career of the best Saint to ever put on the uniform, and his last shot at a Super Bowl. It's your entire relationship with the team and the league, and all the memories you've made over the decades.

If the Saints fanbase can be demoralized to the point where they no longer sell-out the home games, then NOLA will lose its franchise just like all the other cities that experience a decline in attendance.

The best way to demoralize a fan base is to make them realize that they are not going to be allowed to appear in any future Superbowls. The fans throw up their hands. They say "Why bother?". Attendance declines. The franchise moves to a huge media market that doesn't have an NFL team. NFL revenue increases. The NFL front office says: Mission Accomplished. A new NFL Owner and a new NFL city rejoices. 31 other NFL Owners are happy with the increased revenue arising from the transfer of the NOLA franchise to a new duty station.

It's all a big plan.

Sound a bit crazy, maybe. But, could it be true?

It's about more than losing a game or the way the game was lost. It's about having the entire franchise taken away from you. Because you know you can never really look at this the same way again, never REALLY buy into what's going on, because now you know just how corrupt and rigged it really is.

This.

If it’s all just for show, then what’s the point?

If I want to pay money to see something with a predetermined outcome that I don’t know, I’ll just go to a movie. It’s a helluva lot cheaper, and not as emotionally taxing.

The reason this Saints/LSU fan is pissed is because Devin White's helmet to helmet hit on a defenseless player was called but the rams helmet to helmet hit on a saints defenseless player was not called.
