Normally, you don’t ask for someone to be fired. In this case, there is a pattern of ineptitude that can’t be fixed with talent or motivating speeches.
The head coach is a good defensive coordinator. He is not a head coach. The change needs to be made.
Upvote for management to replace Dennis Allen as the head coach.

Don’t make me go bump his hiring thread. Most people on here were in favor and thought he deserved it. I know where I stood. Lots of people will be embarrassed…

Agree 100% and we can’t blame him, he is damn good at what he does, coaching the defense. He had numerous opportunities to be HC before us and failed at all of them. It’s really a very difficult skill set. You can be really good at one and suck at the other. It’s not a flaw it’s just a fact.

Coaching salaries are not part of the cap. It’s just money. Let him have his entire current salary to be defensive coordinator. It would just be a bruised ego. Like coaches tell players, “It’s in the best interest of the team to sit you.”

Every week I cant believe Carmichael still has a job. He will be the lone firing/stepping down at the end of the year. Allen isnt going anywhere. If his job was in danger, they would have forced him to relieve Carmichael already.
Offseason will see em get another olinemen but that is probably the extent of upgrades to this aging roster. Going back to the lean years.
