The Super Bowl is worthless. It has no validity. The game has been tarnished forever. There can be no real fandom without a true unblemished sport. There is no going back for me. The NFL is dead and they killed the Saints, the Rams , the Cowboys all of them are dead. Worthless. All for the $. Football is dead.

Glad we're not letting this go. NFL truly showed its true colors on the worst no call of my lifetime. That wasn't an accident, either.

They showed kids like mine that you can cheat to win, it really killed the innocence of the sport for my 10 year old.

Yeah I'm never going to look at the NFL the same. It just doesn't feel the same anymore. I get it's a business, but when the integrity of the sport is compromised then I lose interest. I lost interest in NBA due to the super teams and players like LeBron trying to collude. It's just a joke. Maybe I'm just becoming older and more bitter, but I've become less and less interested.

I feel the same way. I’m in my 30’s and I’m as big of a basketball and football follower as anyone, but the nfl and nba are no longer basketball and football.

I’m glad others still see it this way and I hope we all continue to turn our interests and time elsewhere.

I’ve become older and a bit more wiser. It’s just not the same.
The NFL has changed from the love of the game to the love of the money.

There are 3 new minor league football leagues. Many will start watching them just to see a purer game.

The problem is that the Saints are presently surrounded by powerful owners who would like to absorb the Saints' current fanbase areas. Jerry Jones would like all of Louisiana west of the Miss R. and north of BR to be Cowboys fans. Arthur Blank wants all of Alabama and Miss to be Falcons fans.

Both of these owners are owed a SB win by the NFL, because they built shiny new stadiums. IMHO, Goodell would like to help them out. One way to do that is to stay on this decades-long campaign to frick the Saints over.

Cowboys fans celebrated the Rams win almost as much as the Falcons fans.

If the Saints win the Super Bowl next year will it still be worthless and the league a joke?

Yes it will. In fact, that would probably make it worse.
I like Drew Brees, other than that, frick em. I’d rather watch high school football.

The NFL has been in decline for several years. I think it started with free agency- you used to know all the players on the team for years, now you have so many one & done contracts. The game has also become 'look at me'...look at me! after a tackle or a catch. Then came the kneeling which was un-American political liberal b.s. & finally Roger Gotohell made it clear that honesty means nothing, it's all about the media market & $$$. I am turning my back on the NFL for good & I was there since pre-season Saints-Falcons game in 1967 season with my Dad!!

Watch the Six Nations Rugby games. Watch and see if any player from any of the teams kneels or any such thing when the National Anthem plays.

Only the players of the National Fraud League would do such a thing.
