They were not going to allow the saints to win this one. The league is a joke.

This is a worse statement than anything he said.

They battled and were in the game all along.. There were some really nit picky calls against us all game long that prolonged their drives.

We deserved a possible victory, just as they did.

When the refs ruled a ball touching the ground to be a completion on 4th down and completely ignored Carolina having 12 in the huddle all game it's a big deal.

Keep telling yourself that...it's still false.

Unsportsmanlike conduct on Ingram for doing something 1000's of players have done before is another call in the long list of awful calls. Scam gets to dance around and taunt the crowd for 20 minutes with no recourse.

Well the ball did slip out of his hands and touch the ground so.

Not to mention the phantom block in the back while Carolina was flinging the Saints punt returner out of bounds.

Did the NFL make the Saints defense absolutely terrible? No, Mickey Loomis, Sean Payton, Rob Ryan, Dennis Allen, and all the Saints coaching staff saw to that all on their own!

It's ridiculous how many years the defense has been horrible under Sean Payton's watch. The man is an offensive wizard who DOES NOT give a crap about the defense!! Apparently he thinks he can just outscore the other team in a shootout every single game!!

I for one am ready for a coaching change. Bring in a coach (and GM) who are actually committed to building a team with a strong defense! However, Saints ownership is in disarray right now with the Benson family feud, so who knows if they'll actually make the moves necessary to get this team in a new direction?
