No

why do we always get involved with players that need several days to decide we are the runner up? As much as I hated Jairus Byrd, it was awesome when we signed the top safety on the market out of absolutely no where.

Plus they are a trash franchise that could frick Up a wet dream

Suh, Clowney, OBJ. We are always the runner up, looks like that will continue. Hope I’m wrong

He doesn't need days to decide. It's probably done. They can't announce it until they have their crap handled with Ryan.

It seems kinda obvious that he wants to be in ATL. frick em
Because if the Falcons do this, they are going to be even more putrid than before.

I just don't understand this. Atlanta has an AWFUL roster short of Pitts. It's basically Watson returning to the era of him and Nuk and just hoping it works out. Ok, so it's his childhood team...but they're going to suck.

If Deshaun goes to Atlanta, as a Saints fan I have to hope he gets distracted from all his friends in his hometown Gainesville. I mean, Gainesville is adjacent to Flowery Branch where the Atlanta training camp is located. The potential for distractions from friends and relatives cannot get any higher.

Good point. If I'm ATL I'm keeping quiet as long as possible.

I, for one, would like to see the two players they are involving. One has to be Pitts, right? Maybe Deion Jones?
Who else do they have worth a crap?

Well we just got fricked because we restructured a ton of contracts going all in and now we have 30 mil in cap for absolutely nothing

And that's the thing...then what?! Those two players are the only thing on that roster worth a damn. So Watson essentially gave them up to go home and lose?

Houston would have to be banking on the picks, which, let’s face it… are very valuable and will continue to be so given what this would do to ATL’s roster

We still have to sign a qb and other players man.

I'm guessing Grady Jarrett and Chris Lindstrom

Would be hilarious if one of the two is Pitts after that tweet.
I was going to say Russell Gage but he left for the Bucs.
IDK who besides Pitts and Jones the Texans would take. I believe Atlanta has one good defensive lineman but I forget his name.

Listen man. Everyone is motivated differently. Maybe he’s thinking that he is only 26 and they might be able to put something better together over the next 10-12 years so he’s not that concerned with today. Especially if it’s really important to him to be close to home. Some people might not want to go somewhere far from home that really is only guaranteed to be better right at the beginning. Not saying I agree but I understand not everyone is motivated by “best org that is in the best position to win right now” … we just are because we’re fans

Grady Jackson. Would be nice to have him out of the division.

Oh I get that, but these are world class athletes. They want to win. Why would you torpedo one franchise in Houston, because of their awful roster management only to go to a different one that doesn't have a good roster OR a history of quality roster building? Just doesn't make sense to me.
