This is a shite article. Doesn't even make an argument for why Mahomes is a better MVP candidate than Brees (or Gurley or Goff). It's just a bunch of quotes and MVP betting odds. What is the point of this?

Mahomes trails only Ryan and Roethlisberger in yards. Mahomes is way more efficient than Roethlisberger, and Ryan is on a 4 win team

I’m not making a point against Mahomes. The writer’s whole point is that there have only been 5 players who have led the NFL in passing yards and TDS, 4 of them have been MVP. Mahomes is not leading in yards and is currently 3rd. Hardly a “case is clear” argument. By the way the only one who didn’t win MVP was Brees.
