I love Brees. He's the only player I truly care 100% about. I wouldn't care much about losing anyone else. Thomas is growing on me though. I also like Kamara. Defensively, I'd be just a comfortable fielding a college defense.

It is pretty crazy to hate him.
I will say, however, that the Saints' management being unable to figure out how to pay him what his status has commanded and at the same time build a good team around him has led to the last few years.
To be honest, knowing how the last few years have unfolded, I'd still take it. Hopefully not too many fans would turn down an offer of something like: "your team win's the Superbowl but then you end up with a string of very mediocre years."
I'm not sure why other organizations can pay top QB's and still build good teams but some do.
