It essentially kills any hope of us drafting our Arch or our Garrett (both true number ones, not TEMU ones like this year)

Just say NEAUX. Draft O-line to protect our future franchise QB, who will be taking live snaps in less than 17 short months.

or..the Saints have a longer list of positions in need of a talent infusion now. IE they need picks and successful picks.

True Dat.

Ideal scenario would be trading down with CLE, NYG, or Pitt and getting their #1 next year so they can foolishly take Shady Sanders or Dart this season. We use the lower pics to build up our interior offensive line

Then we are ready to present Arch / Garrett with the best young offensive line in the NFL next season.

Holy homerism Batman

Yes lets bank on a QB with 95 total passes in his career or the QB from your favorite college a year from now

No one knows if Sanders or Dart will be good pros but based on the track record of this board (see Mahomes, Patrick threads circa 2017) i wouldn’t be surprised if both are stars

Garrett would a consensus top 10 pick if he were in this year's draft.

Arch is clearly trending towards a 1st round pick, and Ewers only fended him off due to coach loyalty and obligation. Only danger is that young Arch decides to stay an additional year which is probably more than 50% chance.

Highly doubtful Arch comes out next year.

Trending by who, online draft sites? Doesn’t change the the fact he still only thrown 95 passes in college, while he obviously has talent but let’s see him play at least 1 full season before anointing him. I can’t help but wonder if he was Arch Lewis from Los Angels who’s Uncles were writers would people like you be wanting the Saints to draft him based on HS rankings essentially? Also he will have eligibility after next year and can always go back.

Not only that, but you just know that traveling circus known as his father would be all up in things.

A first year HC like Kellen Moore doesn’t need that sort of distraction.

I'm no Nuss-stan, but he's better than Sanders and Dart.

My brain tells me people on this board swore up and down Bo Nix would bust and CJ Stroud and Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen and Pat Mahomes…..

You have some credibility most of these tards just say every one will suck

I would have zero faith in any QB with Allen but if Moore likes one of those guys I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Bo Pix Nix was the only one on that list that was viewed as a potential bust.

Well he has no track record yet. He was always in a situation with a clear #1

He may be awesome, mid, or terrible.

I just don't see it in Sanders. What are his big traits? Like I said in another thread, what's his apex comp? Alex Smith? Tua?

Dart is a runner from a Kiffin offense. I don't even know how you can truly evaluate him.
